You can have a different attitude to the USSR. But one cannot be denied - amazing fairy tale films were shot in this country. Each of them has a hidden morality, a vivid image of a positive hero and a positive ending. And in these films famous and talented actors starred.
Popular blogger Vitaly Dubogrey conducted a survey in his LiveJournal to find out which Soviet fairy tale films are the best. Readers of the blog chose from 160 movie titles the most popular and favorite. Most of the films were related to children's cinema, but among them were fairy tales designed for teenage and adult audiences.

10. Three Fat Men (1966)
The story, shot by Alexei Batalov based on the story of the same name by Yuri Olesha, opens the rating of favorite Soviet fairy tales. 9. The Old Man Hottabych (1956)

In this fun Soviet musical, everything is fine - from the plot and songs to the actors. Yana Poplavskaya, who played the role of Little Red Riding Hood, at the age of 11, received the USSR State Prize for her brilliant work.
6. Wizards (1982)
This fantastic comedy, scripted by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky, can not be called the best children's fairy tale since the USSR. This would be unfair to adult viewers, because "Wizards" are equally good for people of all ages.
